Episode 20: Dük Tan

You ever hear a band for the first time and the get three bars into their first song and you’re hooked?

That’s Dük Tan. Drawing from influences as diverse as Sly Stone and  Billy Cobham, through Frank Zappa John Medeski and John Scofield right into Testament, Slayer, and Pantera. And it shows in their music.

As diverse as it is appealing, you can’t help but be sucked into one of their live shows.

The guys…minus Tron…joined me in the basement to shoot the shit and talk about their many years as musicians and how special this project is to each of them.

You can find Dük Tan’s music for download here and be sure to check out their Facebook page here
